Harris Wood Machining is a family owned and operated business situated at Busselton in the South West of Western Australia. We specialise in the drying and machining of Western Australian Hardwoods, producing quality flooring, decking, joinery products and mouldings. In doing so we are continuing a family tradition that spans more than 100 years.

At Harris Wood Machining we are committed to the sustainable management of our Native Forest industry. With this in mind we achieved Chain of Custody certification in April 2012. We have maintained this status and work to the AS 4707-2014 standard. This allows us to produce our 'Timbers by Nature' range which carry 100% Certified status. In future years we aim to expand this range of timbers.

We also prefer to purchase timber from suppliers with 100% certified products.

As well as ensuring we purchase timber from legal, and preferably certified, sources Harris Wood Machining is planting and growing trees in our own plantations. This will give us quality sawlogs as we move into the future and reduce the dependence on native forest logs.
